Phillip Robert Singer, age 74, beloved husband of the late Sharon, married for 37 happy years. Loving father of Laurence (Jean) Singer; cherished grandfather of Jack Thomas; devoted brother of Minna (Marvin) Einhorn, Eunice (Jerrold) Shapiro, Judith Hurwich (Kenneth Zoline); adored brother-in-law of Susan (Terry) Mueller; special friend of Mary Roth; treasured “Unc” of Steven (Julie Berg-Einhorn) and Cheryl (Jeffrey Liskar) Einhorn; much loved uncle of Amy Shapiro, Richard Day and Lara (Robert) Lencioni; fond great-uncle of Jonathan, Benjamin, Jeremy, Rachel, Tyler and Riley; devoted daddy to his four legged “son” Cheese. Phillip was a kind, sweet and gentle soul who will be missed by all. Service Fri 10/6, 10:00am at Temple Judea Mizpah, 8610 Niles Center Rd, Skokie. Interment will follow at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights.
